Rose-Marie Sherwood

Meet Rose your instructor;

Rose is a Canadian artist and French Manitoba Red River Métis artist. With more than 15 years as an artist and over 25 years as a passionate button collector, Rose brings together art, history, creativity, and personal well-being in everything she teaches.

Her unique perspective is also shaped by more than 35 years in a corporate Human Resources career and her certification in art therapy. Today, Rose uses her experience and love of creativity to help women reconnect with themselves, explore new perspectives, and discover the restorative power of making art.

Warm, engaging, and fun-loving, Rose creates an inviting environment where participants can slow down, express themselves, and experience the joy of creativity. Her workshops are designed to encourage mindful creativity, stress relief, self-discovery, and renewed energy.

Rose is also a recognized and active member of the National Button Society, where she continues to share her passion and knowledge of the fascinating world of buttons.

Through her mixed-media art, button collection, exhibits, and workshops, Rose inspires others to discover that even the smallest treasures can hold extraordinary stories—and endless creative possibilities.
