Culture Days in Gimli!
An unforgettable Button Journey around the World!

Tiny Objects. BIG Stories. Button Up!

An unforgettable Button Journey Around the World!

This Culture Days, BoutonArt and The New Iceland Heritage Museum are coming together for a special afternoon celebrating culture, history, creativity and the fascinating stories hidden in the smallest of objects- Buttons!

Join Rose-Marie Sherwood, button enthusiast and member of the National Button Society as she takes you on a fascinating button journey around the world through her collection of buttons spanning different eras.

Discover how something as ordinary as a button can reveal stories about fashion, craftsmanship, culture, travel and the people who wore them. Explore the world of buttons, these beautifully crafted treasures that have travelled through generations and learn to preserve and love them all over again!

*NBS members stand for the preservation, study, and appreciation of clothing buttons and their historical significance.

Bring your curiosity, bring a friend, and come celebrate the connections between buttons, cultures and generations.

I can't wait to see you in Gimli! ❤️Rose
