BOUTONART in the MEDIA
Through BoutonArt, buttons become more than small everyday objects — they become storytellers connecting us to memory, family, culture, fashion, history, and identity.
Over the last year, my artwork, exhibitions and my button workshops, and community storytelling projects have been featured through various media interviews, newspaper articles, radio conversations, and community features.
Each opportunity has helped share the meaningful stories hidden within ordinary objects such as buttons and the connections they create between generations and communities.
This page highlights selected media coverage, interviews, exhibitions, and public features that have helped bring visibility to the evolving journey of BoutonArt and the “Small Objects, Big Stories” project.
Thank you to the journalists, broadcasters, organizations, museums, volunteers, artists and NBS community members who continue to support and help share the fascinating stories and art found in tiny treasures we call buttons.
Much gratitude, Miigwech, Marci, Merci
Rose-Marie Sherwood, Artist and Button Collector
