Meet Rose

Rose-Marie Sherwood is Canadian artist who identifies herself as a French Manitoba Red River Métis artist and holds her Métis status with MMF. She has been a recognized artist for more than 15 years, a button collector for more than 28 years and she held a corporate career in HR and Health & Safety for over 35 years working across Canada in MB, QC and ON. She is a mother to a fine young man who today, according to her, has given her most of her grey hair but who is equally the best accomplishment of her life. In 2022 Rose officially retired from corporate world and completed her art therapy certification. Rose a button enthusiast and collector continues to be a recognized and active member of the National Button Society. She remains dedicated to enjoying and preserving everything beautiful and historic about buttons.
